Let’s rethink health strategies - on your terms!

It can be overwhelming to navigate health challenges - especially when past medical experiences or just ongoing daily stressors and hassles make it feel impossible to move forward. The beauty of health psychology is that it can help you break free from those struggles by first understanding where and why you’re stuck and then creating a personalized, practical approach to health - one that actually fits your life.

We will look beyond quick fixes to explore the root of what’s holding you back and how to move forward with confidence and gentleness. Together, we will define what health means for you specifically and co-create an individualized plan that takes into account your personal goals, real-life stressors, and the things that truly matter to you.

This is best done through a 3 month, multi-session period in which we will meet four times. The first to get to know each other and define what health means to you as well as name the specific habits you’re wanting to change. The second meeting will be about a week later where we will discuss evidence-based strategies from health psychology and neuroscience that best fit your lived experience. The third will be between 4-6 weeks later, where we check in and adapt what we need to. The fourth will be again about 4-6 weeks later where we will discuss next steps and long-term solutions for you to move forward in your health journey. Along the way, I’ll provide resources for you that help you understand the stress cycle, what happens when flare-ups occur, and other literature that you can return to as you learn best approaches for your health.
